SYNOPSIS

Twenty years after building roads in Algeria, Walid embarks on a journey across the highlands to mourn his mother, who died in exile. Carrying a photo of them together, he travels through Oran, Matmata, Laghouat, and Djebel Amour, while exploring Brittany, the unknown land of his maternal grandmother. Through this documentary road movie and encounters with marginalized figures, a plural Algeria emerges, revealing that there is not one Algeria but many.
